Article 71 of the "Sports Law of the People's Republic of China" The state supports the innovative development of the sporting goods manufacturing industry, encourages enterprises to increase investment in research and development, and adopt new products. The state cultivates fitness and leisure, competition performances, venue services, sports brokerage, sports training and other service industries to improve the level and quality of the sports service industry.

Qualified sports industries will enjoy preferential policies on finance, taxation, land and so on in accordance with the law.

Article 72: The state improves the professional sports development system, expands professional sports development channels, supports the professional development of athletes and coaches, and improves the maturity and standardization level of professional sports.

Professional sports clubs should improve their internal governance mechanisms, improve their corporate governance structures, and give full play to their role as market entities.

Article 73: The state shall establish and improve the regional sports industry coordination and interaction mechanism, promote the exchange and sharing of sports industry resources between regions, and promote the coordinated development of regional sports.

The state supports local governments in leveraging their resource advantages to develop sports industries with regional and national characteristics.
