Our feeling of chaos, on the contrary, it brings us a kind of revival of all things and a flourishing scene. In fact, not only is this the case naturally, but in the field of education, isn’t it that “miscellaneous” holds up a gorgeous sky?

Looking back at the past, we can clearly see that our education methods have gradually changed from exam-oriented education to quality-oriented education, and the indicators of evaluation standards have also been biased towards the overall quality and ability of individuals. The transformation from the previous education model of a blackboard and a piece of chalk to multimedia, and the transformation from mechanical examinations to flexible applications.

The "miscellaneous" in the education sector has brought us many surprises, but what is even more surprising is that cooking has also been included in the labor skill assessment items for the first time. As the first batch of people to take part in the assessment, we were both in awe of this exam and looking forward to this picnic-like activity.

When we first arrived at the test base, a long-lost fresh air hit our nostrils. Surrounded by trees and luxuriant grass, a feeling of "the sky is vast and the wilderness is vast" emerged spontaneously. With the breeze blowing, we listened carefully to the speeches of the leaders, and then started the "picnic" activity.

The students were all very busy, and there was a clear division of labor among groups of students. Some ran to get utensils, and some helped to burn firewood and organize things. It was simple for those who were used to using gas. Burning firewood is indeed a bit difficult, but it is also full of excitement, novelty, and a special taste in my heart. After a while, all kinds of raw food were placed on the table: eggs, dumplings... There are many varieties, just waiting to be cooked.

This time, the first dish is fried poached eggs. Even though the eggs are usually cooked in the hands of parents in two and a half times, it is actually quite difficult to make. As soon as they break out of the shell, the eggs are excited. It had to sizzle in the oil and was about to burn. I wanted to help it turn over, but I was afraid of breaking it. Some students didn't know what to do. It seemed that this little egg was powerful enough! Next, it’s time to cook the dumplings, which is the simplest. Seeing the dumplings floating up one by one, everyone can’t help but say with satisfaction and confidence: “Easy!” Now that their respective tasks have been completed, all that’s left is to work together to cook. Our group cooked fried shrimps, stir-fried shredded pork with pumpkin, and scrambled eggs with tomatoes. The dishes were brightly colored, sweet and delicious. However, this also makes us truly understand how difficult it is for parents to cook. When cooking, one has to keep burning firewood and fan mechanically with a fan. One has to look presentable there. The ground was frying, and the smoke from the firewood made everyone "cry in their eyes." However, all this difficult process has a good result. Seeing the team members and judges and teachers enjoying themselves, a sense of accomplishment suddenly rushed into my heart.

After housework, we started potting again. Everyone carefully put the small seeds into the culture soil one by one, and some even whispered a few words from time to time to encourage the seeds to germinate quickly, which made everyone laugh bitterly.

After all the activities, the students each took their own small potted plants, bid farewell to the experimental base where they had been exposed to for a day, and returned home with a full load.

Although today’s labor and technical activity was an exam, it gave me an extraordinary feeling. It allows us to understand cooking techniques, cultivation methods, and also the importance of cooperation. I believe this kind of labor skill assessment will be more popular among students.

The "miscellaneousness" of the examination content and examination methods is a kind of beauty and a kind of rhyme. It brings us the beauty of "the chaotic flowers gradually become charming to the eyes" in the colorful place.
