1. Wuhan Polytechnic is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. 2. Wuhan Railway Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational college with railway characteristics sponsored by the Hubei Provincial Government. It is a national model higher vocational college. The college was founded in 1956 and has evolved through the Wuhan Railway Mechanical School, Wuhan Railway College, and Wuhan Railway Transport School; in October 2000, the Wuhan Railway Adult Secondary Vocational School was abolished and merged into the whole;

In August 2005 In April 2001, Wuhan Railway Health School was transferred to the management of the college; in April 2001, Wuhan Railway Vocational and Technical College was established with the approval of the Hubei Provincial People's Government. 3. Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college sponsored by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is a national high-quality junior college and a national model (backbone) higher vocational college. It is an "excellent" institution in the assessment of the talent training level of colleges and universities, national exemplary software vocational and technical colleges, and higher vocational colleges;

Wuhan Shipbuilding Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher education institution established by the central and local governments and managed by the Hubei Provincial People's Government. It was selected as a national model higher vocational college in 2010 and 2015. It was selected into the first batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units. Wuhan Ship Vocational and Technical College traces its origins to the Central South Military School founded in 1950.

It is one of the first batch of national defense and military industrial schools established by the People's Republic of China. In the course of its development, it has been renamed Zhongxiang Cadre School, No. 212 Technical School, Hubei Institute of Technology, and Hubei Institute of Technology. Mechanical Industry College, Wuhan Mechanical Industry School, and Wuhan Shipbuilding Industry School were established as higher vocational colleges with the approval of the former State Education Commission in 1998 and were renamed Wuhan Shipbuilding Vocational and Technical College.

5. Changjiang Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college established by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and approved by the Ministry of Education. It is the second batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units and the first batch of the Ministry of Education. It is a pilot unit for education informatization construction and one of the first experimental schools for digital campus construction in vocational colleges in the country.
