Canceled off-campus training institutions in 2021. The double reduction policy is mainly aimed at students in the compulsory education stage. Specifically, it refers to reducing the burden of homework and off-campus training for students in the compulsory education stage. In July 2021, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-Campus Training Burden of Students in Compulsory Education" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"), proposing that double reductions will reduce the burden of compulsory education.
